Working with community business and social service agencies over the past 30 years, I have produced and marketed a good deal of commercial and fine art work, including:

Specialty Art Teacher: (1974-82) Brockhurst Boy’s Ranch, Green Mountain Falls, CO. Designed and developed an intensive, therapeutic art curriculum for adolescent EBD boys. With four groups of ten students on a daily basis, was able to give personal attention to each boy in an attempt to build his self-confidence and improve his self image. Handled extensive individual and group counseling. No less important, however, was the emphasis on each student mastering applied art techniques in several of the Art/Craft areas.

Solicited and secured funding and other support for Brockhurst Boy’s Ranch and programs from area social service agencies, community organizations and businesses.

Built a new art workshop for Brockhurst Boy’s Ranch, which involved work area designation and furniture design.

Designed art curriculum and a new art program for Ellicott School, K-12.

Designed art curriculum and program for Cheyenne Mesa, 7-12 grade

Designed art curriculum and program for Calhan School, K-12.

Advertising Artist: Did all of the advertising art, including brochures and other promotional literature as well as in-house work. Designed and painted school emblem on gym floor at Ellicott. Painted silhouettes in gym of all sports at Ellicott.

Custom Leather Company: (1980-90) Self -employed.

Designed custom leather, retail.
